Guidelines for Session Chairs

The Sessions Index in the Book of Abstracts lists the codes for all sessions chaired by each participant. The full list of session chairs is available in the Session Chairs Index. As a session chair, please make sure to:
• Before the session begins, confirm that all speakers are present.
• Check the projector connection before the session starts.
• Keep the session on schedule. Each oral presentations lasts 25 minutes, including time for interaction with the audience.
• Follow the program order so participants can move between sessions. If a speaker cancels or is absent, keep the original schedule.
• If you need assistance, please ask one of the session assistants (a student will be present in the room).

Guidelines for Speakers

The room number for each session is listed in the Detailed Program and in the Sessions Index of the Book of Abstracts. All session rooms will be equipped with a computer and an overhead projector. Please follow these guidelines to help ensure a successful presentation:
• Arrive at least 5 minutes before your session begins.
• Coordinate with the session chair to upload your presentation to the room computer.
• If you need assistance, please ask one of the session assistants (a student will be present in the room).
• Speakers are encouraged to bring their presentations on a USB drive.
• Plan your presentation to fit within the allotted time: 20 minutes for the talk and 5 minutes for questions or discussion.
